Hi! I’m Benna! I weave tales of love and mystery with imperfect heroines and impeccable hounds. I can’t pick just one genre, so I write mysteries, romance, and stuff that falls somewhere in between.

My debut novel Investigating Helen won a Lesfic Bard Award and the Carolyn Readers Choice Award. I followed that up with a related romantic suspense novel Defending Jessica before writing two cozy mysteries starring a tenacious Basset Hound, Murder at the Museum and Problem at the Park. Bywater Books will be releasing my enemies-to-lovers contemporary romance This Means War February 17, 2026.
